Food is an amazing thing yet too frequently it is resigned to a supporting role in our lives. We place an incredible focus on taste and in our search for great-tasting, satiating food, we’ve compromised on it’s primary responsibility – to fuel this amazing gift, our bodies. Some have argued the damage we’ve done, as a society, to our food has reduced its overall quality and led to the onset of allergic reactions including to foundational foods that most of us take for granted. Stevie G’s was born out of a mother’s love. Upon learning of her daughter’s Celiac diagnosis at the age of 10, Stephanie White thoughts ranged from how do I ensure that my daughter’s nutritional needs are met and then, how do I ensure that her emotional needs are met. Food has this incredible ability to bring us together.
